Fighting climate change is on the business agenda of Lithuania

Climate change-related matters that have lately been making top news headlines as never before forced every inhabitant of the planet to give a second thought to what will happen if we do not take the necessary action now. Won’t it soon be too late to change something?

In order to make electricity consumption more efficient, industrial and service sectors have received the most attention. On the other hand, advanced businesses are interested in such attention themselves. 

“Energy efficiency reflects a green, sustainable, technologically strong state and its economy. Therefore, the sense of awareness of businesses of our country implementing energy efficiency technologies goes hand in hand with one of the main issues on today’s agendas of EU Member States, namely, the fight against climate change by optimizing energy production and consumption”, - Virginijus Sinkevičius, the Minister of Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Lithuania, emphasized.
